The Vision of Omar Olmi
Como Lake Experience was born from the vision of Omar Olmi, a visionary entrepreneur deeply connected to Lake Como and Val d'Intelvi.
His motivation was to overcome the fragmentation of local tourism, generate synergies, and look beyond the mere concept of profit, transforming it into true satisfaction while offering an integrated, authentic, and high-quality experience.
Starting from his pre-existing businesses, such as the B&B Casa Olmi Lago di Como and the Como Cooking Class, Omar has created a unique model in which every service is managed directly, from accommodations to boats, and from tours to gastronomic experiences.
His commitment to excellence and his passion for the region are the driving force behind Como Lake Experience.
As a child, he had a poster in his bedroom with an image of New York—his dream. The world wanted to go there, to the center of the world.
He has worked his entire life so that his beloved Lake Como could become the center of the world as well.
